Not yet. The Governor won't let us.
Very dated as far as atmosphere. Waitress smelled like smoke. Food was good though
The service was good. The food was good. The lunch price not bad. I will go again 👍😀
We got there right at 11 and sign on door said closed but door was open and someone was what looked like he was taking the easel down, so I politely asked if they were closed. He snapped my head off - rude!!!! I was told he was the owner. Great way to generate business.
Quiet, relaxing, excellent food and wait staff.
Food was hot and server was very attentive and pleasant.
Nice atmosphere, lovely waitress, Lauren, pointed me to the Chestnut Hill Winery, that's connected, for free tasting so I could choose which wine to order. Good food, reasonably priced.
Place was nice... bathrooms are in need of lots of repairs... plywood doors... hardly latch... for the food... limited selection of sides... baked potato was way over cooked... hard to cut.... chicken was cooked well... good flavor... only one choice of veggie... creamed spinach... a simple steamed broccoli would be nice.... all and all.... we wont be back... all meals are over priced for how they are cooked.... 60 bucks for 2 people... not again...
Good food and friendly service.
Great place for dinner. We had a party of 7, the server was great and the food came out fast. Although the menu is limited everyone in our group raved about how good their meal was. Chelsea our server was great. Definitely recommend.
Both sandwiches good. Waitress friendly and quick. Au jus was a bit salty for my taste.
I had the best ruben sandwitch ever
The restaurant is a nice setting with good staff, very nice menu and options, and very good food. Lamb Chops were seasoned excellently and cooked to perfection. Steamed vegetables were nice and smashed red potatoes were very good. Pecan Salmon was very tasty, with a nice peach cream sauce. Creme Brulee was excellent and well sized. The Bread Pudding was very delicious, with a tasty but not overpowering glaze sauce. The only deficiency I felt was the salad was quite weak, as it was composed of large chunks of white iceberg lettuce instead of some worthwhile greens.
I enjoyed dining there. Everything was made from scratch. The food was good and the staff was friendly.
Very good service. Food was really good and portions were very good for the prices. Will definitely be back.
Amazing steak, even better service. Jeremy is a great bartender, Heather an incredible server. In from Cleveland for work and just wanted a low key place with decent food, this place well exceeded expectations. Thank you!!!
Food was not fancy, but good. Their sour mash whiskey pork chop was done well, served with veggie of the day, dinner salad, and choice of potato or rice pilaf. Entree prices were reasonable. Service was very good. Definitely worth checking out and probably worth a return visit.
Had the rack of lamb with mashed potatoes a salad and lobster bisque soup it was delicious and my wife had chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes soup and salad as well they make a good Kentucky mule and Moscato wine. Highly recommend this place it was a great pick for Valentine's day
Great staff great food
Waitress had very good knowledge and familiarity with the menu, and made excellent suggestions. The food was terrific. We are looking forward to our next opportunity to visit for supper.
In the middle of TN, good home cooked American fare. Not fancy, friendly, efficient staff.
The staff was great the food was plentiful as well!
Ate lunch here. The club sandwich was very tasty. I have to say, the waitress was a little quirky. Personable but still quirky. Quirky is sometimes good. I enjoy a little quirkiness, but please, no more bowing. That is just about crossing the line. Somewhere, just past bowing, quirky turns to crazy. Keep it quirky!
Food very good. Staff very pleasant.
Steak was wonderful! Service was excellent! Desert, peach pie, was not very good.
The chicken was overcooked and dry. Bit overpriced. Baked potatoes cremated. What a shame. I like to eat my potatoes skin and they were too burnt to eat. Salad great. Fresh greens. Dressing on the side! Just the way I like. Rolls were superb. Wished I could give more stars but the chicken a major disappointment
Cheryl and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Good gluten free options clearly marked on the menu
Had tables and close in 45 minutes and wouldn’t seat my son and myself because a party of at least 5 might come in. No I did not want to sit in the bar. A manager WOULD NOT come speak with me I was told she was to busy. After looking at the menu I made sure to tell the young lady up front to tell the manager and owner (who was cooking and was to busy also) they must not need the $150.00 I was going to spend for the 2 of us. Owning my on business I understand you get busy but if a customer ask to speak with me I make the time because the customers are who keep you in business.
Came in and ordered the Ribeye as did my coworker. It was quite possibly the worst piece of meat I’ve ever tasted. We both had the same issue. It was like biting into a piece of printer paper. It was almost as if the chef forgot to season it at all. Maybe it was an off night but for a $25 steak I would hope for something, anything more than that. Honestly I could’ve gotten a better tasting steak at Waffle House. The restaurant dint even offer to remake it but they did cut the price in half. A rather small gesture as the bill was still $15 for a salad and side.
The Ribeye & Shrimp were AMAZING. First time here, will not be the last.
Good atmosphere and friendly staff.
Make sure to try the Prime Rib! The place is small but cozy, the food is delicious and priced well, and the service was good too. Also go next door (same building) for the Wine and Cheese Tastings at Chestnut Hill Winery. The wine and cheese pairings are wonderful and the selection is vast. (Flipside Note: The winery has a processing fee for credit card transactions, so come prepared with cash.)
The food and the people were very nice. We will be going back there.
Neat restaurant with a wine tasting and gift shop. We stopped in for lunch while traveling. Lunch menu was decent priced. Food was good we had sandwiches. Service was slow, I think there was only one waitress. She was rushed.
A great little restaurant that you would think would have that good of food!!
Went for twin lobster tail night and wasn't disappointed. My husband had the filet and we shared to make surf and turf. Meat was tender ands cooked perfect. The tails were tasty and not chewy. We even had dessert which was good too. Creme brulee and chocolate cobbler. Prices are very high so it was a treat. We would return but not as often because of the prices. Service was good.
Pan seared duck was amazing!
Great food. Great staff and service. Cozy atmosphere. We'll be back.
Amazing food. It is nott cheap but the quality justifies the price. We definitely will come again!
Food was tasty and hot. Sweet tea was disappointing. Side salad was not best either. Raspberry Dressing tasted bad/sour. Main entree’s was good. Kinda pricey for area and atmosphere. Dining area could be alittle more updated for the prices they charge.
They promote the lobster but it was very dry and no taste or flavor. Can not recommend.
First time there. I enjoyed my lunch. Lunch was paid for by someone else. We ate in a side room, large group, so I can't comment on wait staff.
A small menu, but definitely good food.
Great service Plenty of menu
Pork Marsala was excellent. Loved the baby brussel sprouts, too.
Dined last night. Everything we had was exceptional. My 3 in filet was cooked to perfection. Menu has a nice selection. Wine was very nice. I loved the casual fine dining. And our waiter JEREMY was on target.
Great food, service and atmosphere.
Nice Prime Rib (Saturday special). Excellent service. I was even able to get a Gluten Free roll. I'll definitely return!
The steak was excellent, cooked perfect and just a hint of flavor, but not so much that it took away from the taste of obviously good beef. My wife got the chicken and was impressed with the flavor. I heard about how good it was about three times while we were eating. I think that were the only words that were spoken after we were served. I have heard about this place by several people, but we live closer to Cookeville. One of my friends says any meal for two that's over 20.00 is to high, So they only eat out about 3 times a year. When he told me they had eaten there twice in a month, we had to go. It's about 10.00 higher than most steak houses, but 30.00 better. You could taste the alcohol in the drinks, so great bartender. I very rarely give 5 stars, because everyone has something to improve on. If they can get my friend out twice in a month, and get me to write such a long great review, than you can bet, If your in Crossville you must stop and eat at The Brass Lantern.
The prime rib was cold, the baked potato was brown inside. The lettuce in the salad was clear. Enough said.
Love the lunch specials and dinner is amazing. For a semi casual dinner you are surved as a high society elegant client.
